Something to Crow About

These young crows seemed as excited as I was this morning, waiting for the sun to rise.

nd a
Jockeying for position, each youngster was looking for the very best seat.

As always, the sun put on quite the show for all who were in attendance.

You might even say, it gave us all something to crow about!

Crow Families – Joined at the Heart

I’ll admit it, I’m the first one to grab a broom and wave it at the marauding crows as they move en mass through the ‘hood in the spring, looking for eggs to steal.

Yet I love crows.

And I know why.

Aside from being so clever, it’s the bonds they make among their families that I so admire.

Always on the lookout for one another, ready to face together whatever may come their way.

Joined at the wing.

Rain Comin’

You could smell rain at Mill Landing last night…

Blog-ForestBeachLoop366 Even the crows were sensing something was moving in…

It was great seeing the rambling roses at their peak.

Have you ever noticed that colors seem even more intense when rain is on the way, almost as if everything is bathed in a kind of glow??

I was lost in the splendor…

‘Til someone reminded me it was time to head for home and fix some dinner.
