Hope you all have a great weekend!
It’s going to be a busy one around here…
It’s amazing how the rosa rugosas just keep on blooming as summer drifts slowly into fall.
To the delight of this little bee, coming in for a landing this morning down at Taylor Pond!
And lucky ME! 😉
A busy weekend up ahead, but no one could be any busier these days than the BEES!
They’re all over the sedums and daisies in our gardens, and the thistle along the marsh.
I love bees…
Don’t YOU?? 😉
I came upon him on my walk tonight, in one of my favorite gardens.
He looked all cozy, tucked in for the night.
Goodnight, Little Bee, I whispered.
Sleep tight! ❤
Sunday always feels like a day of rest to me. The pace is a little bit slower, the world just a wee bit quieter.
The backyard was especially still this morning. Even the hibiscus wasn’t moving a single petal.
And just look who came back for a visit, perching nearly motionless in the old pine tree!
Today will be the perfect time to get a few ducks in a row for Monday…
Do some chores around the “barn”, maybe even stop out for a nap in the afternoon.
Knowing me I’ll wind up knee deep in some hat project or other, that’s usually how it goes.
Yet I’ll hold onto this morning and how good it all felt. When I slipped away from the busy world all around me…
And whispered “hello” to the one that’s within.
Thanks for visiting me here at Images of Cape Cod.
