One of the most amazing things this morning about Super Moon setting at Forest Beach …
Was the sunrise that was happening at the very same time on the opposite horizon!
Like ships passing in the night, they were.
And I wasn’t the ONLY one who noticed.
And when I headed over to Cockle Cove, the water there was smooth like glass.
By that time the moon was busy sinking deep, deep in the west while the sun was more interested in playing peek-a-boo with the clouds over in the east.
The clouds were holding their own, though; working their own special magic on the creek shallows just behind the dunes.
Meanwhile a great blue heron was enjoying his breakfast as the new day’s sun was waving “so long” to our Super Moon.
I think it’s fair to say we all were enjoying this most glorious duet!! 😉
