Easter Comes to the Cape Cod Scrub Pines

Easter comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.

And here on Cape Cod a new tradition seems to have caught on – Easter Egg Trees!

It’s an old German tradition known as the Ostereierbaum, the decorating of trees with brightly colored Easter eggs.

Be they enamel, wood or the Christmas Tree plastic variety, these eggs seem to be full of a special kind of whimsy and magic.

So why not start a new tradition next year, and decorate a tree with some Easter eggs?

It’ll sure give that tough old pine of yours a facelift like no other, and make every passerby smile to boot!  😉

Happy Easter everybody!  😉
